What is an Affidavit of Support?
An Affidavit of Support is a certificate from your sponsor (e.g. your parents) that he/she supports you or your studies financially to a certain amount. Many colleges have a pre-filled form for this purpose. If this is not the case at your college but ask you for an affidavit, we have a sample letter for you.

Hint:
An Affidavit of Support does not legally constitute a financial obligation for the Sponsor. Rather, it is a declaration of intent to support the applicant financially with regard to his studies
