Set Up Common App Account

  1. Click on this link to access the registration page: Common App
  2. Choose:
    1. “First-Year Student” if you’re starting college in the U.S.
    2. “Transfer Student” if you’re switching from another university.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password.
  4. Under “Which best describes you?”, select the year you will start college.
  5. Fill in your personal information:
    1. Full name (exactly as it appears on your passport or ID, including both last names if applicable)
    2. Date of birth
    3. Contact phone number
  6. For “Are you currently based...?”, choose the option that applies to your current location.
  7. On the next screen, select “Yes” if you’d like to receive updates from Common App.
  8. Check the box to agree to the terms and click “Create Account.”
