Track Visa Status

Track Visa Status

After your appointment at the embassy, your application will be reviewed, your visa processed, and finally issued. You can track the current status via this link.
You’ll need your passport number and your DS-160 number (which starts with AA00).

Don’t be surprised if it initially shows “refused”—this just means the application is still being processed.
Once the visa is approved, the status will show approved and once it is finally done, it will show issued.
You can then expect to receive your passport with the visa back in a few days.
